«Coming Home» is the debut EP studio album by Durban Deep project based in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. The record includes some of the first songs written for the eponymous album (upcoming next year). The album was released on November 16, 2017 through O2 Net-Label and was produced by PiTone Studio featuring musicians of such famous bands of Nizhny Novgorod as Jack Daniel's Time (Vladimir Toropygin - bass) and Moona and TAYA MALA (Igor’ Ionov – drums). In each particular song attentive listener discovers remarkable story, which invisible tangle drawn by the music itself composes the whole picture - the world through the eyes of the author.
Bold, aggressive start and the explosive energy of a classic rock-thriller song Willing Spirit, dedicated to the free spirit of those who continue to desperately fight against «Big Brother» prosecution and the ubiquitous politics of media corporations, imposing Western ideals, is replaced by a sour-sweet taste of guitar funk in sound of Going Down. This song is about inner experiences of a man, who has strayed from the road, but saved hope, the small man, with the heavy world on the shoulders, but man, who is not embittered and still believing in kindness. And since the kindness lives in your heart, then love must come afterwards, and this simple truth will be told by a penetrative ballad INAW (abbr. I am Not A Woman). And, of course, all great journeys are hiding one little mystery, secret place in every human heart, from which with thin filaments, each of us draws the road to that place and those people who never allow us to get lost. This is the guiding star, the way home to the Walking City – probably the title song of the Coming Home album, the album that shows you the way to yourself, the long way home.
